Each issue features selected topics, including, but not limited to:

Submission deadlines:
Hello Neighbor is printed quarterly. Submissions are due by 12pm (Noon) on the following dates:
- January 11th (for February 1st printing)
- April 10th (for May 1st printing)
- July 10th (for August 1st printing)
- October 10th (for November 1st printing)
- Additional prints may be done.
Send all submissions to mbcoalition@wfcn.org with “For [printing date] Hello Neighbor” in the title. Please include in the email body: Name of Author, Name of submitting individual (if different), phone number, and alternate email for us to contact in the instance of edits or fact checking.
Please note: Though we welcome your contributions, submission of content does not guarantee publication. See below for contribution and submission guidelines.
Guidelines for Contributions
Language and format: All contributions should be submitted in English and should be sent in electronically.
Length: When possible contributions should follow this word count guidance:
- Featured Articles: 300-500 words
- Neighborhood Announcements: 200 words max.
- Letters of Encouragement: 200-400 words
Title: Please provide a title for your submission no longer than 50 characters. On occasion these titles will be adjusted to provide intended voice.
Images: Images should be high resolution (300 dpi) with a clear background and submitted in a separate JPG file. These are ideal, and your effort to provide what is most friendly to work with is appreciated! If a photo, please provide caption and/or names you wish to accompany.
Permission: Authors are responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holder(s) to reproduce any material with copyright protection. Any confirmed permissions are to be sent along with the copyrighted material, when applicable. If you send a photograph with identifiable individual(s), please provide a signed photo release form. We can provide this photo release form, if needed.
Community Events for Calendar: All events should be submitted with the following format and length in mind: (if applicable)

Title of event, (audience ages if applicable)
Month and Date, Day of week, Time
